Over 20 years of experience working in social care.
When you’re choosing someone to talk to, you want to know they get it - not just in theory, but in real, lived, human ways.
My background includes over two decades in social care, supporting people through some of the most challenging, complicated, and traumatic moments of their lives. That experience shapes the way I work today as a counsellor. This means I work skilfully with both adults, young people and children.

Safe and patient environment.
I provide a non-judgmental, confidential safe space for you to explore your feelings and any difficulties you or your family may be encountering.
Consultations are offered within 24 hours and I work flexibly to meet your individual needs. This includes offering home visits when required to meet your needs.
I have availability and I work flexible so that support is available at the point you need it. No referrals or waiting lists.
I am proud to share that I have a 100% retention rate from the first counselling session onwards.

Tailored Support.
We provide a service to all irrespective of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or background.
Each session is designed to meet your individual needs and can be adapted to meet your learning needs.
I listen and assess then offer bespoke support to meet your individual needs. I meet you where you are - review, adapt and change the support on offer as required. You are very welcome to set the agenda.
Where appropriate I work creatively with clients. This often includes using self help sheets, journalling, workbooks, music, writing. Whatever works for you!
There is no additional cost for any equipment or self help materials used within the counselling sessions. These are often taken home by the client to aid reflection between sessions and to promote their ongoing development.

Focus on Growth.
I proudly offer you a safe, steady space to talk, reflect, and understand yourself more clearly. This helps you untangle thoughts and feelings, make sense of patterns, and explore what you need.
This is done without judgement and at your own pace. I offer a place to process experiences, set your own goals and build coping strategies that fit your life. You are encouraged to speak your truth. Most clients report a noticeable change within 6-8 weeks, leaving with a developed sense of self and the skills and techniques to continue their personal growth.
